In 1990, the DFB won a sensational campaign to bring back at some of the SLM built rack steam locomotives from their exile in Vietnam. In 1992, the DFB, with the two former FO locomotives 1 & 9, rebuilt HG³/4 1 "Furkahorn" and 2 "Gletschhorn" could then support the existing locomotive HG³/4 6 "White Horn ". There were then sufficient locomotives for the line extension. These locomotives are now the backbone of the service now that the route has been returned to it's original length.

Handmade metal model with appropriate changes to the FO. Five pole motor with a flywheel, with a digital interface and with lighting.
